You bring the product photos. Gridbite provides the tools to create and finish your packshots. Credits are charged for successful generations, and exporting your work is included.
About these terms
These terms describe use of the Gridbite website and product photography studio. Read them alongside our Privacy policy and the pricing displayed when you buy credits.
Your account
Sign in with Google to create and access your private workspace. Keep your sign-in secure and use accurate account information. If you act for a business, you must have authority to do so.
Your account is for your own use. Do not share access, bypass usage restrictions, interfere with other workspaces, or use the service for unlawful activity.
Your photos and rights
You retain your rights in the photos and other content you upload. You must own that content or have permission to upload it, process it with AI, and use it for your intended purpose.
You give Gridbite and its service providers the permission needed to store and process your content to provide the service, including creating, editing and exporting packshots. This is not a transfer of ownership of your original photos.
Do not upload unlawful material or content that infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
Generated images
You may use and export your generated packshots, including for your store and marketing, subject to applicable law and any rights in the source material. Gridbite does not claim ownership of your product designs or uploaded content.
Gridbite’s business depends on producing good packshots. If our images aren’t good enough for our customers, we don’t have a business.
AI can still make mistakes, even when an image looks convincing. Generated images may change labels, stitching, text, colours, textures, dimensions or other product details. We do not guarantee that every result will be error-free, an exact reproduction of the product, suitable for every purpose, unique or eligible for copyright protection.
Review every packshot before publishing or using it commercially. You are responsible for confirming that the image accurately represents your product and for any edits needed before use. A technically successful generation means an image was produced; it is not a certification of the image’s accuracy.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gridbite is not liable for losses arising solely from inaccuracies inherent in AI-generated output or from publishing an image without checking it. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or limit your mandatory consumer rights and remedies.
You are responsible for how you publish and describe your products, including any disclosure or labelling requirements that apply to your use of AI-generated images.
Credits and payments
Gridbite uses prepaid credits. The package price, included credits, currency and applicable taxes are shown when you purchase. Payments are handled by Stripe. Buying a credit package does not create a subscription.
- One successful generated view uses one credit. Front and back are separate generations. A new successful generation or regeneration uses a credit.
- Pending generations reserve credits. They are deducted when generation succeeds. If generation fails, the reservation is released and the credit is available again.
- Exports are included. Downloading an existing packshot in a supported format does not use an additional credit.
- Deleting a generated product does not return its credit. The generation service has already been completed.
Credits become available after payment has been confirmed. Credits are for use within Gridbite and are not a bank balance or a transferable currency.
Purchase issues and your rights
If a payment or credit balance is incorrect, the issue should be investigated against the payment and generation records. A failed generation is not charged as a successful one.
For help with a purchase, credit balance or generated image, contact info@gridbite.app. Include the email address used for your account and the relevant purchase or generation reference, if available.
Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable withdrawal, refund or remedy rights. Beginning digital performance does not automatically remove those rights; any legally required consent and acknowledgement must be obtained separately.
Availability and saved work
Generation and export times can vary. Time estimates are guides, not guaranteed completion times. The service may be interrupted by maintenance, provider outages or technical failures.
Keep copies of originals and download finished work you need. Deleting a product removes its original uploads and generated images from our active storage through our deletion process. Keep any copies you need before deleting it. Payment and credit records are handled separately. See our retention and deletion information.
Misuse and account access
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, address unlawful use, investigate fraud or comply with law. Any action should be proportionate to the issue. Suspending access does not remove rights you have under applicable law.
Changes and questions
We may change the service, future package prices or these terms as Gridbite develops. Updated pricing applies as shown before a new purchase. Material contractual changes will be communicated with any notice or choices required by law.
